What is Strong heart Golf?
Strongheart Golf is a software developed on the basis of neurobiological brain research and specifically put to use for golf players. Using this software is a unique opportunity to work on the mental part of your game by receiving an objective evaluation of your individual mindset. How are you coping with the challenges of this sport? At the same time you receive useful information about your personal mind set that can help you in all aspects of life and various situations (private and professional life).
Using new results of neurobiological research Strongheart Golf focuses on examining the frontal lobe of the brain. The prefrontal cortex (PFC) is said to be the most human part of the brain, meaning all our learning and relationship experiences are located here and being integrated into our regular valuation and behavior patterns (our inner mind set). It was shown that this part of our brain directly impacts our body through microscopic muscle movements and even subconscious body activities. This can be crucial for a perfect golf swing. The software examines the prefrontal brain and its so called meta-competencies all online and in only 35 minutes! Your personal evaluation report will help you to drastically improve your mental handicap.

How does the test work?
A smooth and round golf swing requires an appropriate mental state. The inner self talk is key to put your mind in this state and to have the right balance of activation and composure.
Strongheart Golf evaluates your so called metacompetencies that affect individual behaviour and coordination of a golf swing. With the report you receive a transparent evaluation of how your inner mindset influences your natural motion and therefore your golf swing.
The software takes 30 minutes of your time, while you click your way through different mazes. The evaluation report will be sent to you shortly by email and enables you to identify and develop your individual potentials and abilities. Why you should start improving your mental handicap
Like no other sport in this world, golfing brings you in touch with your personal biographical experiences. It is a complex interaction between mind, heart, body and social relationships. While golfing you cant escape yourself or your own story. Emotional memories that went under your skin are literally burnt into your neural system and are able to affect your golf swing in critical ways. They determine your inner self talk in situations that matter to you, win or loose, appreciation or depreciation, celebration or humiliation, confident or insecure actions. Golfing makes your inner state of mind visible to the outside while swinging the club. Therefore improving your handicap goes along with working on your mental approach.
In team sports players are more dependent on others which can be a great chance to maximize everybody’s potential but also they can be utilized as excuses and be blamed for personal incapabilites. Golfers on the other hand strike the ball by theirselves and have no one else to blame for failure. No help from others only personal abilities and form of the day decide about the result of the stroke.

After a bad swing players need to balance their inner mindset all alone to stop a vicious circle of self-doubt and uncertainty. Often players struggle to get out of this downward spiral and they stop having fun playing a sport they love.
Many golfers then tend to invest a lot of money in golfing lessons or new golf clubs and further equipment trying to get out of this slump. Sometimes improvements can be tipped from the outside but real consitency and stability come from the inside of the player. Consequently your inner self talk is a game-changing tool to improve and with our software we want to provide you with the necessary knowledge to regulate your thoughts and emotions before, during and after a swing. A successful self talk consiously eases the mind resulting in a great swing that is not determined by any outside factors.

What are meta-competencies?
We want to offer you insights into the science of self talk. How can you repeatedly put yourself in the perfect state of mind before every golf swing? How do you control yourself after a bad swing and get back on track? How do you calm your nerves before an important tournament? What can you learn on the golf course that helps you in other life situations as well (and vice versa)?
These are just a couple of interesting questions we will try to solve together with the players. And we really mean together. We don’t give general advice that doesn’t relate to certain players. We will find the personal best way to deal with challenges on (and off) a golf course, not dictate a way somebody else has found for him or herself.
Our offer starts with the PSA that gives players a personal report about their meta-competencies and first advice on how you can effectively improve your inner mindset for better problem solving. We give you simple tools to practice and work with. After this first phase we want to get more into detail by getting to know you better. We offer video-conferences as well as personal and group seminars on a golf course. Here we will get deeper into your report and also look at your golf swing to find complex coherences. On this basis we will find ways and techniques to put your golfing game on a new level.

Flexibility
How quickly can you adapt to a wide range of situations? Your ability to recognize the context in which a problem is to be solved and to handle your thoughts and actions accordingly.

Impulse control
Can you control and suppress inner impulses? This competence shows your capability to focus on a given task without being distracted by irrelevant thoughts. Not only we measure your horsepower used on the street, but also the power „under the hood“.

How are you affected by self-made mistakes? Here we measure your level of irritation when realising you made a mistake. The competence is strongly connected to your concept of self-esteem and efficiency.
